Robert Lane was born and raised in Valley, Alabama. He graduated cum laude from Samford University with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and cum laude from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University with his Doctor of Jurisprudence. While attending Samford University, Mr. Lane served as President of the Student Government Association and President of Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honorary. He is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States Supreme Court.During his more than 30 years of practicing law, Mr. Lane has handled a very general practice including criminal law, divorces, probate law, family law, civil trials, appellate work, business organizations work and real estate law. At this time, Mr. Lane focuses primarily upon real estate law, probate law, family law and business organization law.
Mr. Lane has served as a member and Secretary of the Industrial Development Board of the City of Phenix City and presently serves as counsel for the City of Phenix City Downtown Redevelopment Authority.Mr. Lane was one of the organizers of Habitat For Humanity of Russell County, Alabama, Inc. and served as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer.
