Kenneth L. Funderburk was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Howard College (now Samford University) and did Post Graduate work at Mississippi State University. He received his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Alabama where he served as President of Sigma Delta Kappa and was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Society. He was also a member of The Board of Editors of the Alabama Law Review. Mr. Funderburk is admitted to the Alabama State Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, the Unites States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Funderburk has served as a Bar Commissioner and as President of the Russell County Bar Association.
During his more the 45 years of practicing law, Mr. Funderburk has amassed a broad scope of knowledge in the law. He has tried multi-million dollar civil cases, criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies and divorces. Mr. Funderburk also has extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and real estate law.
In addition to his private practice at Funderburk and Lane, Mr. Funderburk presently serves as County Attorney for Russell County, Alabama.
